Baseball Recap: Imperial Falls Short of Bishop's in the Playoffs

Imperial and Bishop squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Imperial had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Imperial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Tucker, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Imperial's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Bishop's, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Imperial nor Bishop's have any future games scheduled.
