Republic won the last time they faced Oroville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 18-9 margin over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Republic pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Oroville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Republic will head out to take on Selkirk at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rangers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.33 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oroville, they will square off against Waterville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
