The defeat continues a trend for the Silver Stallions in their meetings with the Griffins: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City came up short against Neoga on Thursday, falling 9-1. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Christ Our Rock Lutheran was able to grind out a solid win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silver Stallions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
