Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NFL Yet Academy). They enjoyed a cozy 57-41 victory over the Metro Tech Knights on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Metro Tech's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yahir Monroy, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. Jacquon Banks was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

NFL Yet Academy's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for Metro Tech, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

NFL Yet Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Metro Tech, they will venture away from home to face off against Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
