After a string of five wins, Fort Bend Hightower's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Jasper Bulldogs, falling 10-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Hurricanes, who until this matchup were averaging 2.56 runs allowed.

Fort Bend Hightower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jada Valdez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
