On Friday Ottumwa take on Mt. Pleasant at 7:30 PM. The odds don't look promising for Ottumwa, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.

Ottumwa might be aching after a bruising 14-35 defeat to Newton last week. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Ottumwa.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Pella in their previous contest, Mt. Pleasant were happy to find some success. Mt. Pleasant took the match and then some with a 50-0 victory over Central Lee.

Mt. Pleasant's win lifted them to 1-2 while Ottumwa's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Mt. Pleasant can add another positive mark to their record or if Ottumwa can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Mt. Pleasant's step.
