Mingus dropped their record down to 7-12 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-0 to the Coconino Panthers. The game marked the first time this season in which the Marauders were not able to get on the board.

As for Coconino, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 24-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 matches by six runs or more this season.

For Coconino's part, the result came thanks to Kaitlyn Tso's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. Tso has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 26 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aryanna Dominguez was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and one double while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Danica Kern was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Coming up, Mingus will venture away from home to take on Mesquite at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Marauders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Coconino, they will welcome Independence at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are on an eight-game streak of home wins, the Patriots a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
