Othello is 9-1 against Quincy since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Othello Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Quincy Jackrabbits at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Othello and four for Quincy.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Othello had to take the L. They took a blow against Grandview on Thursday, falling 93-43. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Greyhounds are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Quincy came up short against Ephrata on Friday and fell 53-46. The game marked the Jackrabbits' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Othello's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Quincy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Othello strolled past Quincy when the teams last played back in February of 2020 by a score of 58-44. Will Othello repeat their success, or does Quincy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
