Baseball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Garfield, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Ryan Garcia was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Garfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Kennedy nor Garfield have any future games scheduled.
