Soccer Recap: Mid-Carolina Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mid-Carolina couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Capitals on Thursday. Mid-Carolina haven't had much luck with Columbia recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mid-Carolina's goal came courtesy of Cash Knight, who's now up to 28 this season.

Mid-Carolina's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Columbia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

As of now, neither Mid-Carolina nor the Capitals have any future games scheduled.
