Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Spring Woods

If Spring Woods was feeling good off their 3-0 takedown of Northbrook on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Porter Spartans on Friday, falling 3-0.

The final set scores came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-19.

Spring Woods' defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Porter, they have now won eight of their last nine games at home. That gives them a 19-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Woods is set to square off against their familiar foe West Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Porter will face off against their in-conference opponent Kingwood Park on Tuesday.
