Football Recap: Hightstown Starts Season with Win Against Matawan Regional

Hightstown gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Matawan Regional Huskies 9-7.

Looking ahead, Hightstown will be playing in front of their home fans against Trenton Central on September 6. As for Matawan Regional, they will head out on the road to square off against Ocean Township at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. The match will give the Huskies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
