Basketball Game Preview: Harvest Prep Warriors vs. Dublin Jerome Celtics

The Harvest Prep Warriors will challenge the Dublin Jerome Celtics at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Harvest Prep will head into Sunday's match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 23) and on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 win over St. John's Jesuit. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since March 22, 2024.

Harvest Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ephraim Campbell led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brandon Roddy, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Dublin Jerome can finally bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Dublin Scioto 47-45.

Dublin Jerome's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Harvest Prep, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Harvest Prep beat Dublin Jerome 64-57 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Harvest Prep repeat their success, or does Dublin Jerome have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
