The Northern Freeze will square off against the Gators at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] blew Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal got their revenge. The Northern Freeze fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Fosston.

Walter Taus was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Nathan Gust, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
