Soccer Recap: Pequannock Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

While Pequannock's win against Jefferson Township wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Given Pequannock's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Jefferson Township are ranked 356th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pequannock pushed their record up to 9-4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Jefferson Township, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Pequannock will venture away from home to face off against Vernon at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson Township, they will welcome Dover at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
