Volleyball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Arrupe Jesuit waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Arvada Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Generals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Arrupe Jesuit never let Arvada on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-23.

Arelly Diaz paced Arrupe Jesuit's offense, picking up seven kills. Diaz got some help from Yulisa Garcia and her 18 assists.

The win got Arrupe Jesuit back to even at 6-6. As for Arvada, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arrupe Jesuit will take on rival The Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Arvada is set to face off against their familiar foe Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
