The Broadwater Academy Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Atlantic Shores Christian 64-24. Broadwater Academy has struggled against Atlantic Shores Christian recently, as their game on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Broadwater Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Duer, who scored six points. Quinn Ames was another key contributor, scoring two points along with three blocks.
Broadwater Academy has not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-12.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Greenbrier Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Atlantic Shores Christian will head out to face Greenbrier Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Broadwater Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
