Clark/Willow Lake's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers. This was payback for the Cyclones, who suffered a 64-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Myra Lentz, who posted 14 points. Lentz is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 40% in the last five games she's played. Madeline Prahl was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 12 points and six rebounds.

Clark/Willow Lake's record is now 11-8. As for Great Plains Lutheran, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Clark/Willow Lake will square off against Florence/Henry on Tuesday. Clark/Willow Lake is facing Florence/Henry at the right time seeing as Florence/Henry is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Great Plains Lutheran, they will face off against Elkton/Lake Benton on Tuesday.
