Softball Recap: Nolan Catholic Takes a Loss

Nolan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parish Episcopal Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 last Tuesday.

Nolan Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Padilla, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Nolan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Parish Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nolan Catholic will venture away from home to face off against Trinity Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parish Episcopal, they will head out to challenge Liberty Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
