Basketball Recap: Cherry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Denfeld last Friday, Cherry came back down to earth. The Cherry Tigers fell just short of the Two Harbors Agates by a score of 44-41 on Tuesday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cherry dropped their record down to 4-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Two Harbors, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherry will take on Ely in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Two Harbors, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Cook County at 3:30 p.m. on December 27th.
