Basketball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside and Quinter squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lakeside had to settle for second. They came up short against the Quinter Bulldogs, falling 67-42.

Among those leading the charge was Caedmon Bridges, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Gunner Catura, who posted 14 points and five assists.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Quinter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quinter, they will square off against South Gray at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Gray comes in on six and Quinter on eight.
