Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 48-25 to the Creighton Bulldogs. The contest marked the Bees' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Keldon Loecker and Jacob Smith, who each put up six points. Benjamin Dodge held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Bloomfield's record is now 2-5. As for Creighton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will challenge Hartington-Newcastle at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creighton, they will take on Chambers/Wheeler Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
