Classical entered their tilt with Juanita Sanchez Complex on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cavaliers 15-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lady Purple/Athena have posted since April 16th.

Lillyana James and Amya Manston did most of the damage at the plate: James got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases and one double, while Manston went 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. That's the most stolen bases James has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kayleana Curran, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Classical kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in seven consecutive matchups.

Classical's record is now 8-6. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
