It's playoff time, and Crown Point had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lake Central Indians on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Leading Crown Point to victory were Elisabetta Bedoy and Hayden Klimowicz. Bedoy had 28 assists and ten digs, while Klimowicz had 21 digs and two assists. Bedoy is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Paige Vode also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
Defeat or not, Lake Central got some senior leadership from Isabella Steliga and Lilly Barth. Steliga had 20 assists and four digs, while Barth had 18 assists and 12 digs.
Crown Point's victory bumped their record up to 27-3. As for Lake Central, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 19-11.
Crown Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Hammond Morton on the 18th. Lake Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
