Volleyball Recap: Monticello Magic vs. Zimmerman Thunder
Monticello extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Zimmerman. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Zimmerman Thunder. Winning may never get old, but the Magic sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Monticello walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-19.
Leading Monticello to victory were Ella Demars and Molly Hegle. Demars had 16 digs, while Hegle had four aces and three digs.
Monticello has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season. As for Zimmerman, they now have a losing record at 10-11-1.
As of now, neither Monticello nor Zimmerman have any future games scheduled.
