Basketball Game Preview: Lewis County Lions vs. West Carter Comets

The Lewis County Lions will square off against the West Carter Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Lewis County's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while West Carter has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Last Saturday, Lewis County came up short against Lawrence County and fell 70-61.

Meanwhile, West Carter also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Berea by a score of 67-60.

Lewis County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for West Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Lewis County beat West Carter 67-59 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Lewis County repeat their success, or does West Carter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
