Basketball Game Preview: Swanville Bulldogs vs. St. John's Prep Johnnies

Swanville is 8-2 against St. John's Prep since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Swanville Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the St. John's Prep Johnnies at 7:15 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Swanville lost to Osakis on the road by a 54-35 margin.

Meanwhile, St. John's Prep had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Hope Academy 65-63. The Johnnies' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

St. John's Prep's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Swanville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Swanville strolled past St. John's Prep in their previous meeting back in February of 2017 by a score of 44-29. Will Swanville repeat their success, or does St. John's Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
