Softball Recap: Del Rio Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Del Rio can now relate to. They lost 12-1 to the East Central Hornets on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Del Rio saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina Limon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles.

Del Rio's loss dropped their record down to 18-18-1. As for East Central, they pushed their record up to 28-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Del Rio had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
