League recap: Triton tops South Johnston to extend winning streak

3A Eastern Carolina recap Oct. 30, 2012

Triton extended the longest winning streak in 3A Eastern Carolina this week by beating South Johnston, 34-15. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Hawks.

Cleveland took down Southern Lee 48-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.

C.B. Aycock's Austin Snowden and Neil Clark have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Snowden has thrown for 691 yards this season, while Clark, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 12 catches for 187 yards. Triton's Dedrick Stacker leads the league in rushing yards with 1334.

The Rams led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Cavaliers.
