Volleyball Recap: Ord's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Centura came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Ord, but Payton Bruha wouldn't allow it. The Chanticleers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Centurions on Tuesday thanks in part to Bruha, who had 12 digs and four assists. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Centura lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kennedy Davis, who had 17 kills, two aces, and one block. Belle Taukiuvea was another key player, getting 35 assists and one block.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Ord, bringing their record up to 11-16. As for Centura, they moved to 20-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Ord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against St. Paul on the 16th. As for Centura, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Doniphan-Trumbull on the 16th.
