Volleyball Recap: Lead-Deadwood Comes Up Short

Lead-Deadwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Rapid City Christian Comets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golddiggers have suffered since September 23rd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-10.

Lead-Deadwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Rapid City Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lead-Deadwood will take on New Underwood on Tuesday. As for Rapid City Christian, they will challenge Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
