Volleyball Recap: Junction City/St. Xavier Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Junction City/St. Xavier took on Heights on Thursday. The Bluejays fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Junction City/St. Xavier sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 15-25, 25-15.

Junction City/St. Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-3. As for Heights, their victory ended a four-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11.

Junction City/St. Xavier has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Eudora on the 27th. As for Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Garden City on the 25th.
