McDonough's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Thomas Stone Cougars with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Landon Newsome was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Caleb Madden, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

McDonough always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .696. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

McDonough has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Thomas Stone, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

As of now, neither McDonough nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
