Basketball Recap: Nazareth Takes a Loss

Nazareth had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 80-72 to the Allen Eagles on Friday.

Nehemiah Lawrence had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 67% from beyond the arc to rack up 39 points and four steals for Allen. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lawrence has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Lowenberg, who posted eight points.

The win keeps Allen at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Nazareth will challenge Archbishop Carroll at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Allen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-43 victory against Central on the 22nd.
