Softball Recap: Bethlehem Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Hardin, Bethlehem was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fern Creek Tigers by a score of 10-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles/Banshees considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Bethlehem let Ava Parker and Malorie Thiel run wild. Parker went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Thiel went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Parker has posted since back in May of 2024. Paige Miller was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Bethlehem has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Fern Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Coincidentally, Bethlehem and Fern Creek will both be playing Western Hills the next time they take the field. The Eagles/Banshees will head out to face the Wolverines at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
