Volleyball Recap: Capital Prep Comes Up Short

Capital Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Wolcott RVT Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Trailblazers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-5, 25-10.

Capital Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wolcott RVT, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Capital Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] on the 25th. Wolcott RVT has also already played their next contest (against Pomperaug), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
