West Warwick faced Tolman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wizards fell 3-1 to the Tigers. The Wizards' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

West Warwick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

West Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Tolman, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Warwick will head out to square off against Woonsocket at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The Wizards are facing the Villa Novans at the right time seeing as the Villa Novans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tolman, they are taking a road trip to face off against Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
