Baseball Recap: Foothill Victorious

Foothill won the last time they faced San Juan Hills and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Foothill Knights had just enough and edged out the San Juan Hills Stallions 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Sean Green was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Ezekiel Vargas also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Foothill's record now sits at 3-1. As for San Juan Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Foothill will square off against El Dorado at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Foothill has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for San Juan Hills, they will challenge Corona del Mar at 3:00 p.m. on March 4th. San Juan Hills' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Corona del Mar's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
