Basketball Recap: Connelly School of the Holy Child vs. The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans
A win for Connelly School of the Holy Child just wasn't in the cards on Tuesday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were beaten by The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans 64-23. Connelly School of the Holy Child was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Academy of the Holy Cross apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Academy of the Holy Cross to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jenna Jefferson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenly Wu, who went 6 for 12 en route to 17 points.
