Soccer Recap: Muncy Victorious

Muncy barely beat Williamson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians' defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. Ava Eyer was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Muncy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Williamson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Muncy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Northeast Bradford on the 13th. As for Williamson, they will square off against North Penn-Mansfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Williamson's defense better be ready for this one: North Penn-Mansfield have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season.
