Grand County found a leader in Hope Shumway as the team took down Monticello on Tuesday. Shumway turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
