Basketball Game Preview: Bowen Boilermakers vs. DuSable Panthers

The Bowen Boilermakers will venture away from home to challenge the DuSable Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bowen has three straight wins, DuSable has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Bowen saw some tournament action on Monday. They walked away with a 68-59 victory over Deer Creek-Mackinaw.

Bowen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rae'Qwon Rogers, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. Those ten boards gave Rogers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Carter, who went 11 of 21 on his way to 23 points.

DuSable played against Catalyst-Maria and lost via forfeit.

DuSable's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bowen, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Bowen beat DuSable 60-48 when the teams last played back in January of 2017. Will Bowen repeat their success, or does DuSable have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
