Softball Recap: Marana Takes a Loss

Marana was the 7-2 winner over Sabino when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabercats on Tuesday.

Marana got a big performance out of Cadence Beck, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Braelynn Tullous, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Marana dropped their record down to 12-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sabino, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-9.

Marana wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-2 loss against Mountain View on the 31st. As for Sabino, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-2 victory against Cholla on the 26th.
