Basketball Recap: Jaycelyn Hoos Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Sandhills/Thedford

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller won the last time they faced Sandhills/Thedford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs snuck past the Sandhills/Thedford Knights with a 47-41 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaycelyn Hoos led the charge by going 6 of 13 on her way to 19 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Arbuthnot, who posted ten points along with eight steals and six boards.
