Des Moines North proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 29) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Waterloo East Trojans 52-50. Winning may never get old, but the Polar Bears sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Des Moines North pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Waterloo East, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Des Moines North will venture away from home to face off against Clarke at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterloo East, they will welcome Burlington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
