Football Recap: Summer Creek Bulldogs vs. Spring Lions
Summer Creek won the last time they faced Spring and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 78-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bulldogs just coasted through the last quarter.
Summer Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Spinks, who threw for 252 yards and five touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes. Another pass catcher making a difference was Benny Easter Jr., who picked up 132 receiving yards and three TDs.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Summer Creek proved: they limited Spring to a paltry -0.8 yards per carry.
