Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Chargers vs. Santa Fe Raiders

Despite their defeat, Liberty saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Lamar Lee, who posted seven points and seven steals, was perhaps the best of all. Lee has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 43 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tasir Best, who earned six points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-44 W against the Colts.

Santa Fe pushed their record up to 16-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
