Basketball Game Preview: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors vs. Murray County Indians

Having just played yesterday, the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors will jump right back in to play the Murray County Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 40) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ringgold, sneaking past 59-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since January 17th.

Meanwhile, Murray County had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.8 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 53-24 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Murray County, they pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
