On Thursday Forbush will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons takes on the Wilkes Central Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, it was close, but Forbush sidestepped North Wilkes for a 3-2 victory.

The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Forbush has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Wilkes Central, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.
