Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ripon). They were the clear victors by a 26-8 margin over the Berlin Indians on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Hayden Baker was incredible, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Lily Kwakkel was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Ripon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-15. As for Berlin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.

Looking ahead, Ripon will be playing in front of their home fans against Kewaskum at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Berlin, they will venture away from home to square off against Wautoma at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
